What if My Gate is Locked?
If your gate is locked on your service day or we can’t access the yard you will be billed for that day. You can provide us the a key or combination if needed.
What Happens if My Service Day Falls on a Holiday?
You will be serviced on your next normal service day. We do charge because service Is billed monthly not per services. We have twice the amount of scooping on the following service day and takes us twice a long to scoop With twice the amount of waste.
Do You Work in the Rain?
Yes, we will work in the rain unless it is lighting or if the rain is just too heavy.
What if I Want to Skip a Service Day?
If you need to skip a day, please call or email us the day before your visit so we can get you off the schedule for that day.
Can We Work with Dogs in the Yards?
Yes, we can work with your dogs in the yard. We would like to ask that if your pet is an attack dog or highly aggressive, please restrain them so we can scoop your yard without any risks.
Is Dog Poop a Fertilizer?
Dog poop in particular is not fertilizer like cow manure. Contrary to popular opinion not all poop is created equal. Dog's have a high protein based diet that creates a very acidic excrement or waste product. Far more info than you ever wanted to know about your favorite furry friend's business, right? But, it's true. Cow manure is in fact good for vegetation because it in fact started out that way. Dog's diets are very different. Most dog foods today are composed of beef, chicken and/or pork products. This creates a high acidic waste product that is bad for your grass and can leave your back yard looking like, well, not looking like much of a yard at all.
Is Dog Poop Harmful to Humans?
Yes, one gram of dog waste can contain 23 million fecal coliform bacteria. Dog waste can spread giardia and salmonella as well.
Is Not Picking Up After Your Illegal?
Most metropolitan areas have imposed fines, some cities up to $750 if you don't pick up after your dog in a public place. Many cities are looking into legislation that will apply to private property as well because of its impact on the environment.
Can Parasites From Dog Waste Be Passed To Children, Other Dogs, and Even Themselves?
Some of the possible ways a dog or cat can obtain various different parasites, viruses and stages of bacteria from their own poop include: rolling in their feces, pawing at it, and in rare instances even eating it-coprophagy. Some ailments that can affect humans are: Parvo Virus, Trichinosis, Whipworms, Hookworms, Roundworms, Giardia and Coccidia.
Is There Any Contract to Sign?
No, we start your service over the phone or any other way you prefer. We can email you a form to fill out if you like but it's not required. You can cancel your service at any time. We are so sure you will enjoy the benefits of having a clean scooped yard for many years to come.
